A Life of Service, Rooted in Science

Dr. Jessica Veite-Eiser M.D. Wilmington College Ohio

Dr. Jessica Veite-Eiser, Class of 2012, has devoted her life to healing others—both at home and around the world. Graduating summa cum laude from Wilmington College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology, she went on to attend West Virginia University School of Medicine on a Health Professions Scholarship supported by the U.S. Army. While navigating the demands of medical school, Jessica found time to serve others, volunteering as a Wish Granter with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and working with her school’s homeless outreach program.

Following her pediatric residency in 2020, she was stationed at one of the military’s most underserved treatment facilities in Fairbanks, Alaska, where she earned her Board Licensure in Pediatrics. Her commitment to service took her even further—completing medical mission trips to Nepal through the Wilderness Medical Society. When her military commitment ends, Jessica plans to stay in interior Alaska and serve as a pediatrician for the Tanana Chiefs Conference, providing critical care to native Alaskan populations with limited access to healthcare.

Whether in rural Alaska, underserved cities, or remote mountain regions abroad, Dr. Veite-Eiser lives her purpose every day—bringing knowledge, compassion, and courage to the communities that need them most.
